Positive: The hotel has a lift, so, the movement to higher floors was easy. The location was central, accessible to a lot of shops. The food was perfectly delicious. The receptionist was helpful to guide us to the local 'Pora Matir Haat. We got a farewell gift too.

Negative: We were not offered a welcome drink even though the lady at reception agreed. The money for 4 nights were taken immediately after arriving which was unusual. Normally, the hotel settles the bill at check out. The geyser in each room is hidden behind false ceilings. As admitted by the house staff the size of geyser is really small. Hence, hot water turns into cold water in no time. The phone charger over night stand in the room is connected to a light. It means if you charge the phone during your sleep the light will be on all the time. We wanted a different room. They made us inspect 3 more rooms of the same category, two of them have the same problem. We took the other room. Even though we didn't dare to swim in the swimming pool it was noticed that the pool water was standstill. That means the pool pump was not operating. Also noticed that a stray dog came in and drank water out of the Kiddie pool which is gross.

Positive: Prime location , posh facilities, friendly staff , great restaurant with delicious and succulent food

Negative: Rooms can be bigger considering the money paid . Also, hotel messaged us to send money in advance despite us reserving with booking.com to pay on property, failing which they will cancel our reservation.
